📢 Latest World Cup News

🏟️ Host Country Preparations
The 2026 World Cup will be jointly hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico – the first time three nations have co-hosted the tournament. All 16 venues are now in their final testing phases, including MetLife Stadium (New York), SoFi Stadium (Los Angeles), and Estadio Azteca (Mexico City). Ticket sales are expected to begin in late 2025.

⚽ Qualified Teams
The tournament expands to 48 teams. As of November 2025, 42 teams have secured their spots, including defending champions Argentina, France, Brazil, England, Germany, Spain, and other traditional powerhouses. The final 6 slots will be decided via intercontinental playoffs in March 2026.

📅 Group Stage Draw Recap
The group stage draw in December 2025 produced several "Groups of Death": Group E (Spain, Germany, Japan, playoff winner) is considered the most competitive; Group B (England, USA, Iran, Wales) is also highly anticipated.

👕 Kit & Squad Updates
Multiple brands have released special edition World Cup kits. Preliminary squad lists are expected to be announced in May 2026, with final 23-man squads submitted two weeks before kickoff.
